Convert It! by Michael Brown (Paperback - Nov 1993) This book is the bible to electric car converters. Written in plain English, it explains basic principals and techniques of converting a car to electric drive. My only issue is that it needs to be updated to current components.

Welding by Don Geary (Paperback - Aug 24, 1999) Great reference for Oxy Acetylene welding. Don’t think you can read it and instantly become a proficient welder, though. It will take time and practice to learn how.
