Conversion kits for the first generation Miata
I've gotten a number of questions about
providing a conversion kit for the Miata.
Seems like a good idea since the more cars that are converted, the better for
all of us. And frankly, if a kit were available, I would be using it instead
of doing it the hard way...
But what kind of kit do people want? I know when I was looking at conversion kits, I wanted some flexibility with the components, different controller, charger, batteries, etc. than what the kit included. I also would have liked the option to purchase parts of the kit rather than the whole thing at once, this would allow my bank account to recover from the last purchase before moving on to the next, and keep me from storing parts I don't need until later.
At any rate, I put together a short survey to see what people are interested in.
